5 Trailblazers who Broke the Stereotypes in the Last 100 Years

‘Ahhh!!! So sad, you are so fragile, you will not be able to do this. It is not a woman’s job.’ It is one of those sarcastic comments which women often get to listen to till now. Every time any woman does something by breaking her barriers, society tries to pull her down with such harsh comparisons and comments. Did you ever imagine that at some point of time in their lives, our mothers would also have gone through this? How much pressure would this society have exerted on them in those times? The marriage pressure, financial dependency, and many other similar things would have intoxicated their lives.

On this Mother’s Day, take a pledge to make the rest of her life the best one for her. I don’t know much, but I am for sure going to make this day special for her. With loads of wonderful mother’s day gifts, flowers, chocolates, cake, and an outdoor party, I am going to make this day very special for her. As a girl, I understand what all she must have gone through while growing up. Hats off to her and every mother out there who have been working inevitably for their children.

Mommies, I mean incredible they are, she is the best answer to all my questions. Her sacrifices, struggles, and hard work make me and each of us strong today. Then can you imagine how much she could have done for her? But this society has always been pulling her down. But some mommies fought the world when the people around them were bullying them.

Let me introduce you to these trailblazing women who have made our ways to success very smooth. They made it clear that no gender stereotype can stop them from achieving their dreams.

So, let’s begin with them!!!

Mary Kom

The first Indian female to become the World Amateur Boxing Champion for six consecutive years. This woman faced a lot of challenges while she was growing up. But all that mattered was her dream. The best part of her struggle is how her husband very selflessly promised to help her. Other than being a pride of the country, she is also a mother of three, and an MP from Rajya Sabha. Juggling between these works would be difficult for her, but this woman is taking care of everything very carefully.

Indira Nooyi

Our very favorite Pepsi’s CEO Indira Nooyi is one of the most influential women in the world. Indira has always given her best in the growth of PepsiCo and has played a significant role in the company. In the world of men, this woman single-handedly raised the company and made a place for her. She made sure that her kids were made to stay with her at the office after 5 PM. Indira has always focused on how important it is for mothers to be able to have some space for their children at the office.

Michelle Obama

The former lady of the USA, Michelle Obama, is indeed one of those women who has created a place for herself. This woman motivated everyone more than her husband could do. She made everyone realize why it is important to keep ourselves on the priority list. This woman said that we must stop pulling down everyone, instead give them an uplift.

Lauren Thom

This mother of three children never got nagged down by anyone. She worked consistently for starting her clothing brand Fleurty Girl. Lauren always believed that it is very important for us to seek out our kids for a better life. They are an essential part of our lives, and we must treat them as a part of our journey.

Neena Gupta

Whatever the reason was, this woman raised her daughter like a fighter. She has a daughter named Masaba, who is one of the renowned clothing designers of India. Neena said whatever happened was past for her, and hence she raised Masaba as a single mom. It was a significant step for her at those times when a single mom was considered to be a taboo in society.

Hats off, to these strong mommies, who are all set to fight with the society. They have broken all the stereotypes which were created for women. They have made sure that their kids do not face the same problems which they went through. Thank you to my mom and all the mommies out there. We love you!!!
